The successor to the HTC One, the HTC M8 as it’s currently codenamed is rumored to break the mold when it comes to HTC devices. Thanks to the very accurate tipster @evleaks, the HTC will ditch the normal capacitive buttons on the M8, opting instead for on-screen buttons. This will mark HTC’s first handset with on-screen buttons, ever.
As for specs, the HTC M8 has been rumored to come with 3GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor a 5 inch screen at 1920 x 1080p and the latest version of HTC’s UI Sense 6.0. The M8 could also come with LTE-A support for markets that support said protocol.
M8 will be the first HTC device with on-screen buttons.
