HTC is looking to join MediaTek’s octa-core craze and launch a device of its own that rocks the Taiwanese chip maker’s fastest chip yet. Such phone has been caught in the wild, boasting colorful back covers a la Nokia. We’re talking about such color options as yellow, orange, cyan and red.

Aside from the mentioned octa-core chip, this device will also boast a 5-inch 720p HD screen, 1.5GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera, while Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC’s own Sense UI 5.5 will run the show. So it’s not like the top-end phone (cause it lacks 2GB of RAM and full HD display) , but it’s pretty solid nevertheless.

It is said HTC will launch this, still unnamed, device during the forthcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. As far as we’ve understood it will be a global device that could be available in many countries all around the world. More to come, obviously.
