Mid-end Sony Xperia G to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress?

Sony is reportedly preparing to unveil a new mid-range device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The rumored Xperia G will apparently go head to head with Moto X, boasting a 4.8-inch screen with unknown resolution (likely 720p), 8-megapixel camera on the back, 8GB of expandable storage, 1GB of RAM, and familiar Xperia Z-like look and feel.

We don’t have all the details just yet but are hoping to get ’em in the next few days or so. Worst case scenario – this time round Sony will keep its secrets properly and we’ll get to learn about the Xperia G a day before MWC kicks off in Spain (that’s when Sony usually has its press events).
