Whatever HTC’s 2014 flagship smartphone ends up being named, it is one step closer to its rumored March release, as the device has gained approval from the FCC. HTC’s next smartphone, known as the HTC M8 has been seeing many rumors lately, and the FCC filing seems to confirm a few of them.
According to Engadget, the FCC filing details a HTC M8 variant which is compatible with AT&T LTE and supports bands 2,4,5,7 and 17. The device also includes NFC, dual-band 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
A picture of the device confirms a design aesthetic that we’ve seen in quite a few leaked pictures as well as heard in rumors. The HTC M8 is expected to come touting an aluminum body, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 800 processor, dual-LED flash and come in three different colors;silver, grey and gold.
HTC is holding a press event on March 25th in both London and New York. HTC is expected to unveil their HTC One successor at said event.
