Asus isn’t announcing anything exciting at Mobile World Congress; all we have are two new Fonepad models – one with 4G LTE connectivity support, and another that can take two SIM cards.
Aside from rocking a 4G radio, the Fonepad 7 LTE (model number ME372CL) remains the same under the hood. Its specs include a 7-inch 1280×800 pixels IPS display, 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, 5-megapixel rear and 1.2-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage and a 3,950 mAh battery.
When it comes to the dual-SIM Fonepad 7 (marked as ME175CG), it has a slightly slower Intel Atom Z2520 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, while the rest of the specs remain unchanged.
The Taiwanese company will have its entire mobile device range on display in Barcelona, including its ZenFone and PadFone devices, as well as Transformer tablets.
