Samsung Unleashes Gear Fit, A Lightweight Gear Wearable with Curved AMOLED Display

Alongside the Galaxy S5, Samsung has unveiled a smart wearable which packs much of the functionality of the Gear 2 smartwatch into a fitness band like form. Known as the Gear Fit, the wearable pairs with a smartphone and delivers call, SMS, e-mail and app notifications, as well as monitoring your heart rate, sleeping habits and your exercise preferences. The Gear Fit is dust and water-resistant, and rocks a curved Super AMOLED screen which delivers crisp and clear notifications.

The Samsung Gear Fit will be available beginning in April.
