One of the best Android tablets available today, the LG G Pad 8.3, is headed to Verizon Wireless this Thursday, March 6th.

While the Verizon G Pad 8.3 will appeal to those looking for a great tablet for its obvious data connectivity, some looking into the tablet without the intentions of using a data connected outside of WiFi may also be interested. On both the Google Play Store and retailers like Best Buy and Amazon, the WiFi-only LG G Pad 8.3 runs for $349, where the LTE-enabled Verizon version of the tablet costs only $299 off contract. The $50 difference should definitely have some prospective buyers even more interested, even if underutilizing the hardware.

For those looking into the tablet with a two-year agreement, you might want to act fast. The tablet will have a promotional discount out of the gate for only $99 from March 6th to March 10th. After the promotional period has ended, the G Pad will be bumped up to $199 on-contract.

The launch of the LG G Pad on Verizon is an interesting one if you’re looking to save a few greenbacks. Off contract, you’ll save $50 compared to other buying options, and on-contract, if you purchase it in time, you’ll save a cool $100. Either way, you’re getting a decent discount on LG’s sleek tablet!
