Another streaming music service has hit the block, this time backed by Samsung. The new service, strangely named Milk Music is a customizable music discovery and listening service which is available exclusively for Galaxy device owners. The service is backed by Slacker, and provides over 200 stations and an easy to use interface.

Milk Music joins the likes of Spotify, Google Play Music All Access, iTunes Radio, Rdio and the newly launched Beats in the streaming music and curation arena. With mostly all of these company’s providing essentially the same service, Samsung is going to have to pull off some pretty nifty tricks to become a forerunner in this field. One thing Sammy has going for them is that the company’s streaming radio feature is devoid of ads, one thing that many free music streaming apps have. Samsung is also promising exclusive music from popular artists, giving Milk Music content that other streaming apps just don’t have.

Milk Music is available on Google Play for Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 3, Note II, Galaxy Mega and S4 Mini owners. The service will be available on the Galaxy S5 come April.
