While we’ve seen bits and pieces of the Sense 6.0 UI in leaked HTC M8 pictures, we really don’t know much about HTC’s upgrade to its Android overlay. A new video has been posted today, showing us Sense 6.0 in action with a huge smattering of gesture controls making the cut.
Sense 6.0 is destined for the upcoming All New HTC One or M8, and has been ported over to a HTC One, or M7, for the sake of the video. Since the skin runs smoothly on the M7 in the video, we could see Sense 6.0 hit the HTC One and the HTC One Max in the future.
So, what’s new in HTC’s Sense 6.0? From the video we can tell a few things. First off, it looks as though HTC has taken a page from LG and included a ‘tap to wake’ feature akin to the LG G2 and LG G Flex, allowing you to wake your device with a few simple taps on the device’s screen. A quick-launch camera also rears it head in the video, as well as a ton of gestures and of course, Blinkfeed and BoomSound.
We can’t wait to see Sense 6.0 in action on the M8, or All New HTC One which is set to be announced on March 25th at a HTC event in New York and London. In the meantime, check out the video below.
