Ladies and gentlemen, Oppo has announced the Find 7 and it’s the best phone ever! Not only does it have a Gorilla Glass 3-protected 5.5-inch Super Screen 2.0 with QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels – 538ppi) resolution, but also the super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. That’s the same chip that will power-up the Samsung Galaxy S5, FYI. Rest of the specs are top-notch as well, and include 3GB of RAM, Adreno 330 graphics, 3,000 mAh battery and 32GB of expandable storage.
Its main camera has a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with a F/2.0 lens and LED flash, and is capable of recording 4K video and 720p slow-motion clips at 120fps. Aside from usual filters and effects, it has the special Super Zoom mode that can take 50-megapixel photos by merging 10 regular shots into a single big file. A 5-megapixel camera is on the front for taking selfies and video calling your buddies.
In addition to this premium model, the Find 7 will also be available with a more standard 5.5-inch full HD screen. This unit will have a slower Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB chip clocked at 2.3GHz, “only” 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and a slightly smaller 2,800 mAh battery.
Both variants support 4G LTE connectivity and come with special MaxxAudio speakers that should deliver great bass.
The Oppo Find 7 with Super Screen 2.0 will be sold for 3,498 CNY (about $565), while the full HD version will go for 2998 CNY (around 480 USD). The latter will be available tomorrow while the more-powerful QHD version won’t start selling before May or June.
