Now that the All New HTC One has been officially announced, existing One owners are wondering when will they get the new software introduced with the company’s latest and greatest smartphone.
As I’m writing this, HTC said that its existing line-up will get the Sense 6.0 goodies this spring. Thanks to leaker @LlabTooFeR, we have more concrete dates (though still vague) — the update for the original HTC One will be out at some point in May or June. A month or two afterwards (in June or July), the Taiwanese company will follow with the same deal for the dual-SIM One, One Max, One Mini and Butterfly S.
Of course, you shouldn’t expect the same camera software on the “regular” HTC One (and One Mini / Max) since these models lack that second camera which makes some of the magic possible. Still, you should get all of the bells and whistles introduced with Sense 6.0, which seems more than enough. Or so we think, what do you say? Check out the following video before answering. 😉
