It makes perfect sense for Samsung to continue its tradition of launching different variants of its flagship smartphone. Yup, the Galaxy S5 mini is in works as we speak and could hit the market at some point in June.
According to SamMobile, which is trusted source for “everything Samsung,” the mini will come with a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen, 1.5GB of RAM, IR blaster, 2,100 mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. In addition, it could also rock a IP67-certified water-resistant body, making for a that much sweeter deal. However, we’re not sure Samsung will include heart rate and fingerprint sensors to the mix.
And yes, we expect the Galaxy S5 mini to sell like hot cupcakes. Though we would love it even more if it had full 2GB of RAM…
