We’ve been telling you that Samsung is working on the next phone in the Galaxy S Zoom series, and we’re glad to say this unit will launch on April 29th. However, it won’t be called Galaxy S5 Zoom but Galaxy K.
The Korean company has started sending out invites for an event taking place on April 29th at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore. The image reads “Kapture the moment” with big “K” letter having a phone inside it.
From what we’ve heard before, this device will pack a 4.8-inch 720p HD screen, Samsung’s own Exynos hexa-core chip, 2GB of RAM, 20-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom, OIS and Xenon flash. It should be slimmer than last year’s Galaxy S4 Zoom, making it easier to carry around. All other details, including pricing and availability, will be known within two weeks if not before. Stay tuned in the meantime.
