Google keeps launching new Glass initiatives. Just the other day, everyone had the opportunity to buy the expensive gadget for a 24-hour period, and now the company is announcing the try and buy program.
However, you won’t get the real goods to try out; the search giant will instead offer you the plastic Glass which should give you the idea how wearing such product feels like. Although this is free, Google will reserve $50 from your credit card and return the money when you get them back their plastic Glass. You have 10 days to decide whether you want to commit full $1,500 to get the real deal, or you’d prefer Google to keep $50 in exchange for the non-working Glass.
The only problem with this program is that it’s not open to everyone. It is said that the company will send this offer to those looking to participate in the Explorer program, but at this point we’re not sure whether an email will sent to every single Explorer wannabe. In any case, we like all try and buy schemes, especially when we have to commit a serious amount of cash.
