A pair of LG tablets, V700 and V400, caught at the FCC

LG V700 and V400 caught at the FCC

LG is looking to launch new tablets this year, with two such devices getting their spots in the FCC database. Marked as V700 and V400, these two will likely be unveiled in the next few months.

The FCC listings don’t tell us anything about these two, but we’re guessing one of them will be more portable, sporting an 8-inch or so screen a la the current G Pad 8.3. The other device could be bigger, boasting a 10.1-inch display.

We’re speculating at the moment and we’ll rather have to wait for a little longer to get other details and perhaps even a leaked photo or two. It would be strange, to say the least, if LG doesn’t launch new tablets this year. Simply put – they have no reason to leave the market to Samsung and a number of smaller players (who make Android tablets). More to come, obviously.
