You would think Samsung has covered every possible price bucket in the tablet space. Think again… In addition to the low-end Tab series, mid-to-high end PRO and Note series, the Korean company will soon unveil the premium Tab S line-up.

According to SamMobile, this family of devices will start with two different models, one with a 8.4-inch and another with 10.5-inch AMOLED screen, both sporting WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels) resolution. In addition, these two will also sport a fingerprint sensor similar to the one Galaxy S5 has. So there won’t be a special area where you’ll scan a finger – you’ll use a part of the screen, instead.

Rest of the specs will reportedly include Samsung’s own Octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC, 3GB of RAM, a pair of cameras and at least 16GB of internal (and expandable) storage.

We’ve no idea when these two will be officially launched and how in the world Samsung will sell them to the users. It now has a tough job to explain the subtle differences between its multiple tablet series…
