The upcoming HTC One M8 Ace will have a special version for China; fashionistas living in the world’s most populous country will be able to get this device in its “Vogue Edition” glory.
That model will apparently launch on June 3rd when we hope to see the plain vanilla version unveiled as well.
As we’ve heard before, this phone will be very similar to the “regular” One M8, boasting the same 5-inch full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip and 2GB of RAM, while Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 is running the show. There will be some changes though – for one thing this variant won’t have an aluminum body.
Another difference is found in the camera department; unlike the One M8, the Ace won’t have a pair of Ultrapixel cameras on the back — rather, it will have a standard 13-megapixel sensor.
According to SlashGear, the HTC One M8 “Ace” Vogue Edition will sell in China for 3,000 RMB, which translates into roughly $481. We’ve no idea whether the same variant will be sold in other parts of the world…
