Apple sent out invites for a September 9th event today which will be held in Cupertino, California. While Apple hasn’t come right out and said it, the event will feature the reveal of the iPhone 6. Rumors so far have pointed to two iPhone 6 models for 2014, both with bigger screens than previous iPhone models. Apple typically reveals new iPhone models in the first few weeks of September, with iPad announcements coming a month or two later.
Apple is also rumored to have a mobile payment platform in the works, as well as a wearable which is said to come in the form of a smartwatch. Don’t expect to see the rumored smartwatch at this event though. Apple’s still working on that one. And besides, they wouldn’t want anything to steal attention away from the new iPhones.
