Big news, folks; Sony is returning to Verizon Wireless in a deal that could help it grow its share in North America. And it badly needs something like that.
The information, brought to our attention by PCmag, supposedly stems from “reliable documents.” Said documents claim thatBig Red carrier will offer a version of the newly announced Sony Xperia Z3 marked as Z3v, boasting support for NFC and wireless charging.
Inside, this will be the same phone with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE connectivity support, Sony’s kick-ass camera, and so on.
Before this, previous Sony phone to be offered by Verizon Wireless was Xperia Play, which was also known as the PlayStation Phone. That was back in 2011.
