Samsung has started seeding the Android 4.4.4 update for the international version of the Galaxy S III LTE, starting with Nordic countries. Actually, Korean version of the device already got the KitKat goodies, and now it’s the rest of the world that expects to be served with latest bells and whistles.
Included in the new firmware (version I9305NXXUFNI4) are wireless printing support, faster performance and reduced memory consumption, as well as white status bar icons, full-screen lockscreen album art, updated Samsung apps, closed captions support, and general stability improvements.
Like any other update, this one too is rolled out in stages, so you may not see it just yet. If that’s the case — and you hate waiting — you may want to manually cram it to your Galaxy S III. Feel free to proceed to SamMobile’s website, where you can grab this latest firmware and flash it to your phone.
We doubt Samsung will be launching any additional firmware updates for this phone, though.
