Microsoft unveiled its latest mobile accessory – the DC-21 6000mAh portable charger, which will also be known as Microsoft Portable Power.

Weighing 145 grams, the charger has a rounded cylindrical design that makes it look compact. There are soft LED lights which tell users how much charging capacity is left, and it takes 4 hours to fully charge the Microsoft Portable Power. Also, unlike the previous Nokia chargers, this one has Microsoft’s branding.

According to the Redmond giant’s PR, the DC-21 will charge 80% capacity in about three hours, and 100% in four hours. Moreover, thanks to the automatic standby mode, the charger will have 80% of power even after six months of inactivity.

The Microsoft Portable Power DC-21 will be available later this month for $49 (39 EUR), with users being able to choose between multiple color versions, including white, bright green and bright orange.
