We’ve told you that HTC is working on a selfie-centered phone that could be announced as early as later this week.
The device we thought will be known as HTC One M8 Eye will actually be sold as HTC Desire Eye, indicating it won’t have an all-metal body like the models from the One series. Nevertheless, future owners of this phone will get rock-solid specs along with usual-for-HTC solid build quality.
According to leaks coming from HTCFamily.ru and @upleaks, the Taiwanese company may officially announced the Desire Eye on October 8th. Said model will pack a pair of 13-megapixel cameras, one on the back and the other one on the front, both of which will be accompanied with an LED flash. That’s right, the Desire Eye will boast a 13MP camera WITH flash on the front, making sure you get some amazing selfies even in the club.
Rest of the specs are rumored to include a 5.2-inch full HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In addition, we assume this model will be capable of delivering LTE connectivity speeds at least in markets where that makes sense. We expect to get even more leaks prior to the Eye’s official launch though I doubt will bother you with more information until it’s officially out. Stay tuned…
