If you missed your chance to pre-order the OnePlus One last night, you’ll have another chance to do so soon. OnePlus will open up another round of pre-orders for the OnePlus One on November 17th at 15:00 GMT. This announcement comes on the heels of last nights difficulties with OnePlus’ pre-ordering system which denied many users the chance to purchase the One. The November pre-order is an attempt to heal the wounds of those who got locked out of last night’s round of pre-orders.
“By waiting a few weeks, we will have time to ramp up our inventory and implement needed changes. It will also give you a chance to express any questions or feedback you might have so we can really improve this next round.”
Not the most awesome chain of events for a company which has been struggling to get all of its ducks in a row as of late. There’s no denying that the OnePlus One is a powerhouse device, and a few speed bumps are expected being that the smartphone maker is still in its infancy and is trying out not-so traditional methods of purchase, design and distribution.
For OnePlus’ benefit, let’s just hope that the customers that had trouble last night feel the same.
