Instagram has added five new filters to its iOS and Android apps today and has boosted the social network’s functionality with some cool new features. It’s been a few years since we’ve got to play with new photo filters, so hopefully these new ones make up for that lost time.
Along with picking new filters Instagram users can now upload slo-mo video, comment in real-time and change a photo’s perspective. You’ll also find a new way to tag your favorite filters for easy use in the future.
The five new filters introduced by Instagram today include Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua. The new filters are optimized to take advantage of higher resolution photos as the cameras on our mobile devices continue to become more powerful.
