CES 2015: Archos Improves 4G Android Device Range With Archos Diamond Smartphone and Helium 80b Tablet

Archos isn’t waiting for CES on Monday to announce the company’s new devices for 2015. Earlier today, Archos announced a smartwatch line as well as a smartphone that runs multiple OS’s including Android, Firefox OS and Windows Phone. Archos just announced a few new offerings that improves upon the company’s 4G device footprint. Meet the Archos Diamond Android Smartphone and the Helium 80b Android tablet, two modest devices with 4G that slide in under $200.

The Diamond rocks an octa-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, a 16MP rear-facing camera and a 5 inch HD IPS screen. The Helium 80b touts a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Archos will continue to update its Helium line, so get ready for more Archos devices to be unveiled next week during CES 2015.
