Regular users (and would-be users waiting on device support) of LinkedIn for BlackBerry will be pleased to know an update has been pushed out. The new version brings us up to 1.1, and packs quite a few new features, including some very much needed device support!
Thanks to the update, the BlackBerry Bold, Curve, Pearl, Storm and Tour series devices are ALL compatible. In total, over 21 devices running OS 4.3 or newer should be ‘all good’ to run the app… This is a biggie for the app for sure. Think of all the users previously snubbed by the LinkedIn app… Now they should be all good!
A number of bugs and tweaks have been included in the 1.1 update as well, but I’m not going to touch on those because I’m sure you really don’t care… But other key updates include:
- localization for members in Italy and Brazil
- profile update enhancements (more details given on what your connections have been changing on their profile)
