Rogers Nokia N97 Mini

Anyone out there fancy a Rogers Nokia N97 Mini? If you’ve had your eye on this one lately, you’re probably not alone. We knew it was coming, and thankfully, it has arrived (a little later than we expected!). The Nokia N97 Mini has arrived at Rogers online and in-store.

Pricing on the N97 goes as follows:

  • $99.99 on a 3-year term
  • $399.99 on a 2-year term
  • $449.99 on a 1-year term
  • $499.99 off contract

Hmmm, think they want you to sign up for that 3-year deal or what!? 🙂 Moving on, key features of the device include:

  • full QWERTY slider
  • 3.2? touch screen display
  • Quad-Band EDGE and Tri-Band HSPA
  • up to 3.6 Mbps download speeds
  • 5 megapixel camera with video (up to 30 fps)
  • WiFi
  • GPS
  • 8 GB memory, with expansion to 16 GB via microSD

…and the official description from Rogers goes a little something like this:

The Nokia N97 Mini comes with everything you need for productivity and entertainment. It offers the full Ovi suite, including Ovi Maps with free Navigation and a car mount so you can turn this N-series smartphone into a full GPS solution. For your entertainment needs, the N97 Mini comes with exclusive content like Rihanna tracks and 5 free premium games to keep you entertained.

Now, I suppose the real question from me is this: Are you really considering the Nokia N97 Mini when iPhone 4 is coming to Canada so soon? Nokia die-hards stand up and be proud. Let me know what you think in the comments. However, if you’re going to hold off just a bit to get your hands on an iPhone 4 on big red, I’d like to hear from you too… So what say you? Yay or nay on the N97 Mini? Or do you even care!?
