The Predators movie is set to be released in just a couple of weeks, and Chillingo & Angry Mob Games are bringing the official Predators game to the iPhone very soon.
The game was originally announced nearly a month ago as Chillingo announced it scored a licensing agreement with Fox Digital Entertainment to be able to publish the official iPhone / iPad Predators game. If you recall, Angry Mob Games was the team behind twin-stick shooter Guerrilla Bob and judging by it’s E3 trailer, it looks like the game is going to control similarly to how Guerrilla Bob did.
In Predators, you take the role of Predators who are hunting down soldiers on their home planet. You’ll be able to use well-known Predator weapons & abilities such as the ability to cloak, perform deadly melee attacks, and tap into your thermal vision in order to hunt down your prey. Predators for the iPhone & iPad will feature “24 levels of killing frenzy”, so you would-be Predators can be sure there will be a lot of killing going on when the game is released in the coming weeks.
If Angry Mob Games’ previous title is any indication, then I’m sure Predators will just as fun, or possibly more fun than Guerrilla Bob is. I mean, you play as a flippin’ Predator!
