SteamIron: The FallenSingapore-based Mikoishi is not exactly the single most known mobile games developer, but it seems they are preparing to add the new twist to the mobile gaming market. Touted as “the world’s first true online Real Time Strategy (RTS) game for mobile phones,” Mikoishi’s new title – SteamIron: The Fallen – has all the aspects of the moderng RTS title. There are tournaments, guilds, leagues, buddy lists, global rankings and multiplayer matching. In addition, Mikoishi relies on the classic space opera storyline, featuring interstellar spaceships, futuristic communication technologies, and an evil Ternion Empire beset by infighting between its Emperor, his elite Modan guards, and a religious Pax Imperium organisation. Sounds promising – can’t wait to see the first screenshots…

UPDATE: First screenshots are here – after the jump. As you will see, this is the real thing! 🙂
