By now we all learned to hate vuvuzelas. At first it seemed interesting to see the fans using this obnoxious instrument (if I can call it an instrument at all) at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, but soon afterwards it was clear to me – vuvuzela is the instrument of the Devil himself.
I dig the idea that it’s a national instrument and that I should be picking words more carefully, but you gotta admit even mosquitos don’t sound that irritating. Heck, that “instrument” is banned in many places…
So why would anyone and I mean anyone want to have a vuvuzela ringtone? To annoy other people, that’s why! Talk about the downside of democracy. It’s legal to have any ringtone you like…
If that’s what you want, I don’t hate you – I just don’t want to be around when your phone rings… and I probably won’t be around (I love working from home). 🙂
Anyway, AppTech is offering the vuvuzela ringtone at its website specially created to celebrate the World Cup. It’s an MP3 file and you can grab it from here.
