Just as we expected, the Samsung N150 is hitting Verizon Wireless’ netbook offering. The carrier is selling the Atom-powered computer for $49.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and with a new two-year customer agreement.
Specs wise, the N150 is a standard Windows 7 Starter edition based netbook with features that include a 10.1-inch 1024×600 pixels display, 1GB RAM, webcam, 160GB hard drive, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 6-cell battery, stereo speakers and so on. It also rocks a dual-mode embedded modem that makes sure you can connect to both CDMA and GSM based 3G networks (EV-DO Rev. A and HSPA, respectively).
Along with the device purchase, you’ll also have to pick one of Verizon’s Mobile Broadband plans, which start at $39.99 per month for 250 MB monthly allowance. There are also GlobalAccess Monthly Plans for those of you frequently travelling outside of the U.S. These start at $129.99 per month for 5 GB allowance for the U.S. and Canada and 100 MB allowance in select destinations.
