New digital comic publisher Mangako is launching its first comic exclusively for iPhone and iPod Touch – Impact City. Since it’s made for the two iDevices only, there’s no need to scroll around to read the comic. Each scene is made to perfectly fit the iPhone’s 3.5-inch screen, removing all zoomimg and scrolling actions that are usually required with other comic apps. Moreover, there are transition effects between the scenes, ensuring for a “dynamic” experience.
There are more than 100 scenes in every chapter. The first chapter is included with the app purchase, while the followings are available through in-app purchase. Moreover, you’ll be able to access author comments and explanatory notes while reading, and there are exclusive bonuses such as screen background gallery, character files and videos.
Finally, Impact City allows you to turn on your iPod and listen to some music while enjoying a comic.
The application is available in 5 languages (French, English, Spanish, German and Japanese) and costs $1.99.
