Verizon Wireless’s recent holiday lineup announcement sparked frenzied anticipation of Verizon’s iPhone-fighting LG VX10000 Voyager handset. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any launch/release information on the Juke, Pearl 2, Venus, or Voyager. Until now.
Boy Genius got his hands (as he always does) on a leaked Verizon Wireless spreadsheet that sheds some light on the No. 2 wireless carrier’s holiday launch plans. Of course, this kind of leaked launch information is always subject to change – you never know when network testing problems or supply issues are going to crop up.

Anyway, it looks like Verizon Wireless’s Samsung SCH-i760 will be seeing some CDMA network time come October 19 – just 10 days from today. Next up in Verizon’s product pipeline is the Samsung U470 Juke. Slated for an October 15 launch, you’ll have your pick of Teal, Navy, and Red colors for this music-oriented swivel phone. The BlackBerry 8130, better known as the Pearl 2.0, will be launching with the Palm Treo 755p and the LG VX5400 on November 1. And, in the same week, we’re expecting the LG VX9900 Venus to bring some haptic feedback touchscreen goodness to the masses on November 4. The Samsung SCH-U900 FlipShot (Red and Black) and Verizon Wireless G’Zone Type-S (Black, Gold/Burgandy) will both launch on November 15 – with a camera-less version of the rugged G’Zone Type-S hitting the network on November 18. And, rounding out Verizon’s holiday launches, the LG Chocolate will be sweetening up the CDMA offerings on November 21 – in your choice Light Blue or Red.
But, that’s not all. November is already shaping up to be a huge month for the CDMA carrier, but there’s still another highly-anticipated handset slated for a mid-November release. The LG VX10000 Voyager (you didn’t think we’d leave this out, did you?) should be going toe-to-toe with the AT&T Apple iPhone on November 18. As you already now, the QWERTY-toting device should be nipping at the iPhone’s heels with that large external touchscreen, likewise huge internal display, and full-HTML web browser.
We thought the Juke, Venus, Pearl 2, and Voyager would be getting launched simultaneously, but it turns out that they’ll all be launched within a couple weeks of eachother – close enough. November is going to be an exciting time for Verizon Wireless fans, but we’ll be sticking to AT&T with the AT& Tilt and soon-to-be HSUPA 3G network.
