The Beyonce Phone gets real – Sprint’s Beyonce-themed Samsung UpStage

Beyonce Phone BWe’re not sure why, but Sprint has made the Beyonce Phone a reality. The B’Phone is essentially a Burgundy-colored, gold-accented Samsung’s new Ultra Music SGH-F300 that comes with Beyonce-themed goodies and packaging that looks like a CD case.

Now, don’t get this confused with a product launch. The Samsung UpStage has been on market for quite some time now. Beyonce’s involvement with the UpStage isn’t new either – she was the original spokeswoman for the dual-faced musicphone. So, what is new? Well, the coloring and the questionably appealing Beyonce content. We’re almost speechless – and not in the good way.

If, for some crazy reason, you actually want one of these horribly tacky phones, you’ll have to wait until November 4. Wal-Mart (seriously) will be carrying these interesting (to put it kindly) musicphones. When is a special edition phone actually less appealing than the original? When you ask Beyonce to bring a touch of “bootylicious” style to your musicphone, that’s when.
