Hero of Sparta II takes place after Argos set sail for Hell on his quest to reach the shores of his homeland: Sparta. Argos soon learns no human leaves Hell without consequences. Through his adventure in Hero of Sparta II, Argos will face the gods, his fate and will have to answer for his arrogance.
Hero of Sparta II features graphics optimized for the iPhone 4’s Retina Display. Players will adventure through 12 levels in 8 new environments which feature improved environment interaction while combating enemies more colossal than seen in the original game. The control scheme has also received an update with an advanced action virtual pad that allows you to aim your attacks more precisely. Through Argos’ adventure, he’ll come across new powers and weapons which will certainly be needed in order to survive the challenges he’ll face.
The original Hero of Sparta was a huge success for Gameloft and it received much critical acclaim for its action and graphics. With the improvements Gameloft has made to Hero of Sparta II, as well as supporting HD graphics on the iPhone 4’s Retina Display, it looks like this game is a shoe-in to be another critically acclaimed title.
