Just when you’ve started enjoying the unlocked iPhone firmware 1.1.1, Apple decided to close the doors to the third party apps and other hacks again. Luckily, there’s a way to go back in time and restore your firmware version to 1.1.1.

Downgrading iPhone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1

You should know you’ll need the firmware 1.1.1 ipsw file in your computer as well as iNdependence version 1.2.5 before you proceed. If you don’t have it – grab it from an iPhone buddy and check out the detailed instructions on Hackintosh forum. Good luck.
