New and used vehicle search website CarLocate.com is going mobile. However, they’re not launching a native app as you would expect, but a mobile website which is, let’s say, the “old way of doing things.” To be fair with this move they’ll be reaching more users as no smartphone is required to access the service.
The mobile website works just like its desktop counterpart, allowing users to query CarLocate.com’s database while on the go. Additionally, on the search page you can:
- Click on the mobile phone icon from any new or used car listing to send the details about that car to some mobile phone number (yours or friend’s – for sharing).
- Click the telephone icon next to the dealer’s contact information to connect directly to a representative at the dealership to ask questions or schedule a test drive.
And that’s about it… To access CarLocate on your mobile phone simply start the browser, enter carlocate.com and take it from there. Good luck in finding those cars. 😉
