Almost 1 year ago to the day, T-Mobile UK and Orange UK announced that they’d merge their wireless networks. More than half a year later, in May of this year, they announced that their merged network would be called “Everything Everywhere“. Today the joint venture has announced that starting October 5th customers from both networks will be able to use each other’s networks, free of charge.
Talk about a hell of a wait, why wasn’t this done sooner? It isn’t even instant too, customers need to go to either http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/coming-soon/share/ or orange.co.uk/share and input their details to benefit.
