Updated just the other day, The Weather Channel MAX for BlackBerry now packs quite a few new features that the regular user will enjoy. The latest version brings the app up to version 2.5… and below is a quick rundown of what’s new:
- Animated radar maps are now on-board
- New TruPoint technology provides detailed forecasts for the upcoming six hours accurate up to 2 kilometers, making it the most pinpointed, accurate weather information available.
- Local video forecasts by The Weather Channel meteorologists
- Home screen temperature with severe weather alert indicator now available
