Oxygen Software has released new versions of their popular “better PC Suite” applications – Oxygen Phone Manager II for Nokia and Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones.

Oxygen Phone Manager IIThe first application — now in version 2.17 — is only slightly changed and features several improvements in the Phonebook, Export and Call Register menus. In addition, the Oxygen Phone Manager II for Nokia phones v2.17 has increased model detections speed and now includes “partial” support for the Nokia 6500 Classic.

As for the Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones, it can now work with six more mobile phone models, including the Nokia N82 and five Samsung’s smartphones (i450, i520, i550, i560 and i570). Then there’s improved support for the Nokia N95, as well as minor changes in Phonebook, Log Records, Messaging and Application Manager menus.

Finally, along with the announcement of the new versions, Oxygen also introduced a new way of licensing their products. For 5.95 EUR — roughly $8.75 — per month, users will always have the latest version of Oxygen Phone Manager II for their phones…
