iPad support comes to the MobileMe Gallery app

Apple has finally updated its MobileMe Gallery app and the new version has full support for the iPad.

The 1.2 version of the MobileMe Gallery iOS app is a universal one, so it will work on the iPad, iPhone and the iPod touch. It has also been optimized for the Apple iPhone 4 and that nice Retina display.

If you don’t know, the MobileMe Gallery app lets you view your photos on the go. The program even stores the photos you’ve viewed on the device, so you can still see your pictures without connectivity.

Other features include:

– View your entire gallery including password protected and hidden albums.
– Flick through photos and pinch to zoom in for more detail.
– Rotate to see photos in landscape.
– View your friends’ gallery photos and movies.
– Access previously viewed photos when offline.
– Easily share a link to an album.

It’s a free app but you’ll have to be a paid subscriber of the MobileMe service to take advantage of it. Hit the link below to get at it.
