After the updated iPhone app, Waze is following up with a new Android client which now too comes with driving groups support. There are already more than 5,000 groups to choose from (created by the iPhone users) as well as the option to create your own driving group.
In addition, Waze 2.0 for Android also comes with “some very considerable performance and stability improvements,” including enhancements such as multi-touch support, zoom and rotations…
And that’s about it. Not sure if that’s worth the “2.0” mark, but what do I know. To download Waze for your Android smartphone, search for it in the Android Market and take it from there. And yap, make sure to keep on building new driving groups to help out the community and ultimately make commuting more enjoyable for all of us. 😉
