Habs fans, it looks like Bell has released a new Montreal Canadiens app for Android, BlackBerry and iOS. It’s no surprise that Bell has come to the table with this, being minority owner of the team and all… and, oh yes, the Canadiens do play in the Bell Centre, right? 🙂
The new app brings pretty much what you’d expect for any team-specific app. You can load up videos, the latest news, stats and more. There’s even a ‘Fan Zone’ section that lets you vote on the game’s three stars, or interact with other fans around the globe. It’s a neat feature for sure.
On top of all of the features highlighted above, Bell customers get some groovy extras, including:
- game broadcasts from RDS including coach Jacques Martin’s live comments after the game
- access to a special social network to exchange comments, photos and even videos with other fans
- share photos live on the Bell Centre big screen (cool!)
For more information, or to download on your device of choice (remember, it’s compatible with Android, BlackBerry OS and iOS), head on over to Bell.com/canadiens
He shoots, he scores!
Note: Although Bell is promoting the app as available on iOS, the page above lists it as ‘coming soon’ for the iPhone. Strange. I popped open the app store as well, and sure enough, it was missing. I’m sure it’ll pop into the app store real soon… So Habs fans on the iPhone, keep your eyes open for this one!
