Omaha Steaks is out with its iPhone app called Steak Time. No longer will your steaks be rated as “average” – simply start the app on your beloved handset (or iPod Touch or iPad) to read and learn what true experts have to say on how to make a perfect steak.
Included in the application is the informational “Steak 101” training that comes with “how to” videos, tips for perfect grilling and hundreds of shareable steak recipes by category, complete with grocery list creating capabilities.
Then there’s the Grilling Timer that enables you to create a personalized steak timer setting for each guest, indicating when to put the steaks on the grill and exactly when to turn them to achieve the specific degree of doneness that each guest prefers.
Finally, for those introverts among you/us, the conversation card feature will provide you with a host of conversation starters, which according to the press release, guarantee to liven up the dinner discussion…
