After Vodafone, we have another British operator joining the Nokia N8 party. It’s Orange which like Voda is also offering the Symbian^3-powered device for free on a two-year contract that includes at least 32.5 GBP a month plan.
The cool part about Orange’s version of the Nokia N8 (actually it has to do with their network), is that N8 users will be able to take advantage of HD voice that reportedly delivers “excellent audio quality to mobile calls.”
In addition to the N8, Orange is also offering few other HD Voice-enabled devices, including the Nokia X6 16GB, Nokia E5, Nokia 5230 and Sony Ericsson Elm.
Back to the N8. As you probably already know, it’s the single most powerful Symbian smartphone launched to date. Its feature set includes a 12-megapixel camera that can take 720p HD video at 30fps, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 3.5-inch AMOLED nHD capacitive touchscreen, 16GB of internal storage capacity and so on…
