Orange UK is offering a special version of the low-end-ish Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini smartphone. The QWERTY keyboard-equipped device is getting the “Fashion Edition,” boasting two “free fashion covers” (white and pink) that go well with the device’s black body.
Targeted at British ladies who want a taste of Android, Sony Ericsson’s special baby comes with the same feature set as its original brother — hence we ain’t gonna spare words on the specs here. We’ll just add it’s most likely powered by Android 1.6 with 2.1 update coming in a matter of days (or perhaps weeks).
Orange is asking for no money upfront for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Fashion Edition, but it does require interested folks to commit on a two-year contract with a monthly plan of at least 20 GBP a month.
Sounds like a good deal for the fashion-savvy first-time Android smartphone buyers who still don’t dig or can’t afford better models with WVGA screens…
