The Times has been working with the personal media company TigerSpike to launch a new iPad app for their monthly science magazine – Eureka. Designed as a special interactive edition of the magazine, the application features video, audio, interactive elements, psychometric tests and rich content based on the science of sport.
In terms of the content contributors, the press release says that the same journalists who contribute to the print issue have been involved in the iPad app as well.
The great thing about Eureka is that once downloaded, it won’t require a working data connection, since all of the content is bundled within the application. In other words, you’ll be able to read (and/or watch) it even while flying, which is kinda neat…
And that’s about all there is to say about Eureka. At 99 cents, it’s a nice bed book that will certainly help you learn something new. AppStore link is below.
