Nimbuzz released a new version of its popular multi-network IM and VoIP client for Nokia Symbian smartphones. Naturally, Nimbuzz 3.0 sings along the latest Symbian^3 devices like the Nokia N8, E7, C6 and C7. In addition, there are tons of other changes and features included, such as:

  • Customizable tabs – allows users to select which tabs they want to see and in what order.
  • NimbuzzOut call rates are now displayed in real time below the number before placing the call.
  • Recent calls tab – not sure why this wasn’t included before. From here you can check all of your received, missed and outgoing calls.
  • 2 new chat styles – with or without avatars.
  • 3 options to view the Contact List
  • Sort contacts by status.
  • My info tab with overview of your profile, NimbuzzOut credits, accounts, suggested friends and friend invites.
  • Facebook Connect – removes the 400 contacts limit and connectivity issues.

In addition, Nimbuzz says they’ve fixed quite a few bugs as reported by users. In total, more than 300 different issues have been resolved making the application more stable and feature rich than ever.

Finally, to celebrate the new version launch, Nimbuzz is offering 15% bonus credit for NimbuzzOut calls. To claim the discount visit the NimbuzzOut’s website and once logged-in, use the code NIMBUZZ15 when purchasing the NimbuzzOut credit. The promo code is valid until end of November 2010…
