If Lonely Planet can do it, so can Time Out. Yap, they’re going for the iPhone and iPod Touch users, as well, and their apps are $1 cheaper when compared to their Lonely Planet counterparts – $4.99 vs $5.99.

The first batch of apps released include travel guides for 4 cities — Barcelona, Berlin, Buenos Aires and Paris — with the London city guide app to follow shortly.

Each of the apps is less than 20MB in size and once downloaded, you won’t need to use mobile data anymore which is quite handy, cause you don’t want to see expensive data roaming charges on your phone bill.

In addition to standard the what to see, where to eat and have fun features, Time Out apps also come with the advanced itinerary planner that allows travelers to create daily schedules and arrange bookmarked venues by area, or distance from their current location. Quite handy and something to keep you occupied while travelling to your destination…

And that’s about it. Links to all Time Out travel guides are below.
