After the iPhone and Android versions, ABSOLUT VODKA is launching an iPad version of its Drinkspiration application. Called Drinkspiration Home Edition, the app comes with more than 3,000 drink recipes and is in that sense touted as the “perfect application to get your party started.”
In addition to all the cocktails you can browse and an “optimized for large screen” interface, there are some other cool features included in the app, such as:
- Shopping list functionality – so you know which ingredients you need to buy for each of the cocktails.
- How to mix videos and step-by-step mixing instructions.
- Ability to share your favorite cocktails with friends on Facebook.
- Advanced search and browse functions for users to receive drink recommendations based on ingredients found at home.
- Six pre-installed ABSOLUT COLLECTIONS featuring classic drink themes such as Red, Celebrating, “Prohibition”, Summer, Classics and Pre-Party. Plus there’s the ability to create your own drink collections.
Finally, it’s worth noting that Drinkspiration Home Edition doesn’t feature only vodka-containing cocktails — drinks based on gin, rum, tequila and other spirits, as well as non-alcoholic drinks are also included in the application. For more information, check out their website.
